    I've seen most of my favorite bands and musicians, many before I upgraded to a decent camera and started taking photography seriously. But I still wanted to include them on my site because their music is very important to me.

    site name: "Swim" is a song written by Jack's Mannequin that was released on their second album, The Glass Passenger. It was released as the second single off of the album and is a crowd favorite and has been played at every single Jack's Mannequin show I have attended. It's a gorgeous song, lyrically and musically. One of my favorite lyrics of all time is from this song: "you've gotta swim, swim for your life. swim for the music that saves you when you're not so sure you'll survive."

    I am a 27 year old living near Pittsburgh, PA and have a deep passion for both science and music. I am a clinical laboratory scientist for a nationally ranked hospital system. In my free time I love to find new musicians/bands to blow my mind and to go to concerts. My love for music grew exponentially after I became a member and later music director of the University of Pitt-Johnstown's radio station. Photography is a newer hobby. I was so tired of seeing my favorite musicians live and taking crappy, blurry pictures of them. So last year I invested in a professional grade camera and have been teaching myself the basics and practicing at every show I'm allowed to take my camera to.
    If you're a venue or a band that is featured on my site, please feel free to use any of the photos I've taken for any reason you'd like. Since it's just a hobby, I don't demand you credit me with my name and/or link, but it would be much appreciated! But I'd love it if you would send me an email just so I could see how you decided to use it.
